SusChem, founded in 2004, is the European Technology Platform for Sustainable Chemistry. It is a forum that brings together industry, academia, SMEs, startups, policy makers and the wider society.
SusChem is a joint initiative between the European Chemical Industry Council (爱游戏中国官方网站), , , , , and the , representing the main stakeholders from academia and industry in the chemical sciences sector. The goal is to strengthen, guide, and inspire European chemistry and industrial biotechnology research, development, and innovation sustainably.
In partnership with European and national public authorities, SusChem contributes to initiatives that aim to provide sustainable solutions to society鈥檚 big challenges. These public private initiatives link research and partners along the value chain to real world markets through accelerated innovations.
SusChem across Europe: a network of national technology platforms
This network consists of 18 National Technology Platforms (NTPs) working on regional sustainable chemistry initiatives, supporting national engagement in EU projects, and contributing to transnational collaborations.

SusChem’s European stakeholder and brokerage events
As both a technology solutions provider and a multi-stakeholder forum, SusChem organises annual European Stakeholder events for those interested in sustainable chemistry and innovation. It also hosts brokerage events to form consortia and network for EU-funded projects.
Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda
SusChem regularly revises its ) with input from stakeholders. The SIRA outlines technology priorities to guide the strategic planning of European Framework programmes for Research and Innovation, focusing on sustainable chemistry and industrial biotech solutions to address EU and global challenges.
